Ray Kroc earned over $500 million in his lifetime. But his successful franchise didn't come to fruition until he was in his 60s. He purchased McDonalds at 57 years old.

He was a musician, and ambulance driver and sold blenders and milkshake machines for most of his life. He started and failed at many businesses along the way.

Harland "Colonel" Sanders start being successful in his 60s, at 65 he used his social security check to start franchising his restaurants....

I'm still in the process of creating my landing page. That is, I've been creating copy for it and looking at other landing pages to see what else can or should be done.

Not that this has been my first time looking at other examples. I have, but never took any notes on things that might work for me. This time, I'm going to start viewing other landing pages and take notes. I want my efforts to mean something in the end.

I see a lot of threads on here where people are either asking how to make money on Twitter, or how to drive traffic to their site from Twitter.

It's actually very simple, far more than most people think.

Rule #1: Give your followers something of value.

For some reason this key component is left out of most people's twitter strategy. They create tons of accounts. They get software to add tons of followers. They set up autoresponders that DM everyone...

Lessons learned so far

The lessons that I learned are as follows:

. Don't spend a year or more in creating a product. Just decide on a niche and create a short ebook or report. If I had to start all over again, I would definitely do these things first.

. Try to get a report written in a week or less. Then plan no more than two more weeks for editing it. In the meantime, work on a sales letter and/or opt-in page.

. Take time in creating a good domain as well as finding a great...
