2. You found out where the business wants to go
3. You confirmed both the starting and stopping points with the business owner.
(Something like if I understand you correctly you are here (x) and you want to be (y)).
4. You have suggested several ideas and found one or two that the business owner is excited about

A little recap of part one.

When you go in to talk to business owners your job is to find out two things.

1. Where they are currently
2. Where they want to be


You take those two things and they look like this.

where they are + X = where they want to be

Before moving on past this you want to confirm everything back with them. Say things like ... if I understand you correctly you currently get most of your clients from...

Blood in the water

I am scared of sharks. Seriously I make myself watch Shark week on tv but I won't go into any body of water that I can't see the bottom of. What does sharks have to do with marketing ... lots.
