Best source for PLR

Posted 8th July 2012 at 03:44 AM by tomcam

I have answered the perennial "best source for PLR" question to my own satisfaction but it suddenly occurred to me that I might be able to contribute meaningfully to the going discussion, because I've bought more PLR than you. No, seriously. Anyhow the question is no longer academic.

I finally published my product on Friday. I won't link to it, but it's a mixed media course on called Instant Website.tv for anyone who wants to learn how to start a website. (WordPress, natch.)...

SEO Suicide?

Posted 7th July 2012 at 03:09 PM by tomcam

In his Blog Curation class, Harlan Kilstein claims that you can get good rankings fast through curation, which is a fancy way of saying linking to other people's sites and wrapping it in a little editorial content.

He's right. In fairly short order I brought my website named webmarketingfree.com to page 1 of Google for the search "web marketing free".

Posted 7th July 2012 at 02:48 AM by tomcam

I finally started following Harlan Kilstein's advice and have been updating my Web Marketing Strategies blog regularly over the last couple months, and to up the ante I have used a pure curation play with zero SEO. Press Release Distribution Sites

Press release distribution sites are widely documented--and inaccurately so. Many places that used to accept press releases, like EzineArticles, no longer do so. Some of the effective ones with high page rank are inexpensive (PRWeb, GoArticles). I ended up having to create a page that listed Press Release Distribution Top Sites to keep track of the players. In coming days I will test the efficacy of all of them.

PLR Marketing Success That Kills Me!

Posted 10th December 2009 at 07:34 AM by tomcam

Tip of the hat to the no-doubt pseudonymous DocsToc user named Gracebiz. "She" (note stock photograph) has posted 18,000 articles to DocsToc. Many, perhaps all, come from a widely available pack of 170,000 PLR articls.

She's posted the articles in raw form, not even bothering to remove things like the word count. It's the #2 laziest possible strategy-and it's resulted in 100,000 article views and 4,000 profile views on DocsToc alone. All for a packet of articles she quite...
