Well, Admob has been acquired by Google (That sucks!!!) which tells you that mobile advertising is something definitely worth looking into.

I'm wondering that myself. I watch the videos and it sounds interesting.

Although I'm one of those people who try's really hard not to give out my cell phone number for the exact reason Adam is pitching. It's bad enough that we occasionally receive tel-marketing calls. I'm just not sure I want a random advertisement being sent to my cell phone or how many people really would welcome a random advertisement sent to their phone.

Maybe a better investment would be to develop a spam filter for cell phones...

It actually revolves around building an email list using mobile marketing.

I have a review copy that I'm going over today before I promote it to my customers. It looks good so far.

Alright here are my thoughts after going over the review copy he sent me:

The training course is definitely worth $77. Overall I think it's a very clever idea to be using cell phones to build your mailing list. Most people don't buy from cell phones at the moment, so it's crucial you use it in conjunction with your list so that you can follow up with offers later.

The bonuses in the course are priceless.

Adam goes through all of his successful campaigns - this is well worth the price of the course alone. Those videos are going to be making people a lot of money, that is for sure.

Everything is very well put together - gives you the impression of a very high quality and well thought out program.

Will I recommend Mobile Monopoly to my customer list? You bet.

I agree with you. The constant little bleeps, bings, tunes, and ads on a cell phone would drive me crazy. I would be hardpressed to actually sign up or sign in. I don't like giving out my number either but found out the hard way that if you do, get ready for DELUGE of telemarketers.. calling & calling and calling. Then you start to get the text messages..It is unbelievable The spam filter for cell phones sounds like a winner to me

I will be happy with if they send a pm with proof, and I will publically confirm it here.

Alex does mention in his video that he promoted a wedding product from clickbank - so I gather he is not so sensitive about that.

But exact date ranges and proof of network used is better than nothing.

I don't think anyone is disputing there is an ad cost, that goes without saying and to be fair to Adam (and I have bought the course now btw) not many of these launches do mention it.

No sorry, giving away the niche is nothing like giving away the cost. Sure any IMer would only give away a niche if it was no longer profitable but there is no reason why the spend cannot be shown.

I couldn't agree more-there really is no excuse for pretending that gross equals profit, or that there is any excuse for withholding cost and profit figures, when you're using sales copy that distorts the real financials by omitting the costs. Sales pages with big numbers that are based on only the gross obtained by paid methods are deceptive to put it mildly. If someone made $50K overnight, but spent $60K, it sounds a little less impressive to someone who's looking for a way to replace their job rather than add a $10K debt.

More valuable would be to disclose the dollar amount of gross sales and the total expense of the campaign.

Revenue and cost per click don't tell you much on their own. The total cost per sale and total revenue/commission per sale tells much more.

I'm by no means saying this method doesn't work, or making any judgment about this course in particular. All I'm saying is that it seems everything has been carefully stated to IMPLY great profitability without and real PROOF of profitability.

I've only seen the first video on the sales page though. So I don't know if they get into showing proof regarding the profitability of overall campaigns or not. Either way, I guess they have a money back guarantee if some are really interested in giving the system a try for themselves.

What we always want to know is what was the cost and what was the profit. It's a pet peeve of quite a few warriors including me that guys like Adam talk a lot in sales videos and letters about the money they make without ever hinting that there may have been a big difference between gross and profit.

So the relevant information on your campaign is how much was your net profit on those 25 sales, and also how much time you spent setting it up, and do you think you would have been able to do it without his personal help (since most of us won't have that advantage). Also, was that your only campaign, or did it take 10 tries to get one to pay out?

I don't mean to be contrary-I'm impressed, but just want to know as much solid info as possible before I decide to take the plunge.

My results so far (5 days)...

I set up 5 campaigns & watched every video in the course.

2 ads were for list building - set up 5 days ago.
(Exactly following the pre-launch video)
16 clicks x 4 cents-a-click = $.64
No opt-ins yet

3 ads were CPA offers - set up 2 days ago
(Exact ads from the "Proven Campaigns" upsell)
Only 14 clicks x 7 cents-a-click = $.98
No CPA sales yet

Impressions are only trickling in and the click-through-rates are very low.

I'll continue testing, but don't expect the push-button fast & easy results advertised.

I bought it and will be going through it and setting some campaigns up this week. I'm glad
to see the positive reviews here. I think the main concern for most is not to stick your
neck out too far with the campaigns until you have tested them yourself.

I'm not crazy about getting any ads on my cell either but I'm sure it is the wave of our
future and I don't want to be left behind!

I'll come back after I see results (hopefully they will be positive).

Question --- Are the ads you're talking about display ads on the screen of your phone, or are you talking about incoming calls like from telemarketers?

I see small ads on my Droid phone but I have never clicked on one.

Just curious what this is about. I do realize the mass market potential of these devices.

My only concern about this course is if it is similar to "Cell Phone Cash" that was released last year that no one could seem to make money with.

Everyone was using admob at that time and burned through some cash with no positive results, even sending them to a opt-in type page.

So why would this be any different? If they couldn't make it work then why would it be any different today?

It all sounds good in theory but if you can't make a good ROI then why waste your money?

There is always the possibility of requesting a full refund within a certain time period if you are not satisfied with the product especially when it goes through Clickbank.

Ted - I certainly have the same concerns, however, it appears there are several issues Adam has worked out and he does appear to be having success with it. Also, he's paying like 1 - 4 pennies a click, so, it seems the "money you would burn through" would be very low - less than $100.

At $77, it appears to be fairly priced to me. I think I'll hold off a few weeks and see how some of you folks do with it, but I may change my mind.

My concern is this. yes the clicks may be very cheap right now. However, from the looks of things, this is going to be a very well received product and lots of people will be buying it and using it. The more that use the AdMob platform, the higher the clicks will cost. Pretty much like what happened to Adwords a few years ago.

Good point, but isn't it a huge market? I think a lot of people got rich from cheap adwords campaigns before the prices climbed to the point where it was tough to get a decent ROI. It seems to me if you get in front of a trend like the recent shift to mobile browsing, you can make a lot of dough before saturation sets in.

If anything, your concern would probably just push me in the direction of getting in asap rather than waiting, but I'm guessing there will be a lot of money in the mobile market for at least the next 5 years before it gets tougher, and even then, probably there will be money in it for those that continue to optimize their campaigns-just as lots of marketers still make great incomes with adwords and email marketing, as saturated as it is.

One other reason saturation shouldn't be a big problem for a while is that the number of mobile surfers increases all the time-lots of people still don't even have their I-phone or equivalent yet (including me

. Also, the ones that have had them only a year or less are probably still getting used to shifting some of their surfing to mobile.

After watching video number 2 in the lead up to product launch I set up a "weightloss" campaign exactly as Adam showed on screen. The results were this:
Campaign setup 29/7/10 to present 3/8/10
Page impressions 80,459
Clicks 356
CTR 0.44%
subscribers to list 11
Cost $52.40
CPC $0.15
ROI so far $0.00

The very cheap clicks ie $0.03 are only available if the campaign is run on an open demograhic. ie anyone in the world who has a pulse and a mobile phone. The more targeted campaigns tend to be around the $0.15 mark. I posted my results in the comments section of the pre launch video but they weren't approved by the moderator for some reason! Lol. I was only trying to give my honest real life results.

I still think it's an exciting concept though and am gonna try some more ads.

PS I think the $67 per month upsell for "Beastmobi" is steep.

That's my point... I went through this with cell phone cash. The cost per click was higher the more targeted the demographics were.

And with most campaigns you want targeted traffic not general traffic that has very little chance to convert.

So if you were "copying and pasting" the exact same campaign the why aren't you getting the same results? Were you able to question Adam about his yet?

Until I see some more positive results I'm staying on the side line and waiting for additional feedback.

(If I threw in tons more cash I could probably build a decent size list but it is going to cost a pretty penny to start off with and then hope I can make some of that back in my e-mail promos)

I did exactly the same thing... after watching vid 2 I also set up a healthad campaign (admob) to generate leads for a mailing list (exactly as Adam mentions). It started great but has bombed a bit for me as my impressions have stopped dead in its tracks and all admob says is increase your bid or remove your demographics to target more people (more like just throw more money at us)... my stats are not nearly as good as your's. But at least now I know why, it is because my CPC/bid is set to low. If I push up my bids however then this campaign will not be profitable unless I can greatly improve my CTR.

I also noticed this in his video - from experience you can not get the clicks that cheap ... when you go for targeting demographics. Makes me wonder about the large list Adam built - it must have cost him a bit or he managed to work in a market/demographic that was cheap enough. I am hitting the UAE at 19 cents, the cheapest I could get it and to make it move faster. when u try to go for say just women over a certain age it takes for ever to to deliver the impressions.

yes i dont like the upsells ever. the upsell is beastmobi, at $99 I think it was, but u can take it for a spin for 7 days for $4.95. It is web based program to help u with optmised pages, adding video etc. not bad, there are other ways to do this.

It could be used on other media buys Wayne ... I would have to see them, there are many besides Admob. The Mobile CPA's give you all the creatives and pages hosted on their servers if you are just focused on driving an offer through the likes of Admob ... the set -ups for these are all you really need to make an easy $100 to $500 a day.

You'll need to figure out what % of subscribers you can convert to customers & what your lifetime customer value is.

Also, did either of you set up a PPC campaign to compare the cost to acquire a subscriber? If so, what did you find? If not...why not?

Yes my cost per sub is 0.93 until my campaign bombed, still trying to ressurect it.... Yes, I have my follow up messages set, none have bought as yet (only 4 subs cant expect much) I did however as mentioned make some up on the cpa offer i reffered them 2 after signing up. Just trying/testing out what Adam showed us to see if it works...

What I mean is this...

Your cost per subscriber is $0.93. Say you build your list to 5,000 people. You'll have invested $4,650 in that list if your cost per subscriber stays consistent.

Now, say you can convert 2% of your subscribers to customers with a $37 clickbank product that pays 75%.

5,000 subscribers x 2% (conversion rate) = 100 customers

100 sales x $37 = $3,700

$3,700 x 75% (commission rate) = $2,775 commissions (before refunds)

So you've invested $4,650 to make $2,775 (again, ignoring refunds) and have 100 people on your customer list.

Now, say over the course of the next year each customer buys more of your affiliate products, own products, etc. and is worth $40 on average.

$40 x 100 customers = $4,000

So in the end, you've paid $4,650 UP FRONT and brought in a total of $6,775 a year from now. For the sake of simplicity, that's a 45.7% ROI. A pretty good ROI. But you gotta be able to afford the up front subscriber acquisition cost.

And of course, these numbers are just made up for the sake of an example. I was just trying to point out how to truly tell if a campaign is profitable. Like I said, cost per click and amount of clickbank commissions (or other revenue) are irrelevant by themselves.

  I understand fully now what you are saying/explaining. If i look at your example and what my new admob bid is at I will loose a great deal of money in the initial "list building" period, however I can market to this list over and over, BUT I do not have the funds to go all out at the moment so will put it down to experience gained and pull the switch.

@Alice,

I agree with you about the $67 per month Upsell to Beastmobi. There are a few less expensive alternatives to setting up your mobile sites. If any one needs some resources then just PM me.

The very cheap clicks ie $0.03 are only available if the campaign is run on an open demograhic. ie anyone in the world who has a pulse and a mobile phone. The more targeted campaigns tend to be around the $0.15 mark. I posted my results in the comments section of the pre launch video but they weren't approved by the moderator for some reason! Lol. I was only trying to give my honest real life results.

I still think it's an exciting concept though and am gonna try some more ads.

PS I think the $67 per month upsell for "Beastmobi" is steep.

Great - finally the right info on mobile marketing (I assume)

I just brought Adams course because I have been on a same journey learning how to achieve success over the past 12 months. My focus has not been so much building lists but on simple CPA success and with the target of $100 a day.

... which is now achievable with Mobile CPA's on the scene. I have a new video my blog showing you some recent success, and I might create free guide on how to do it step by step - make $100 a day as a starting point to help out.

This is so simple you don't need to buy a course like Adam's, but if you want more advanced material and you are going to go more full-time with this buy Adam's course! (I will update you more after I review more of his material, and update my blog).

It all started for me after buying Mack's Cell Phone Cash course, and I became one of the main posters on the forum here - trying to help out and showing my test pages and results. There were a bunch of others trying to make it work (I would not recommend you buy Mack's course).

Adam seems to be on to it, it will work IF you get started and apply it, he has managed to pull it all together really well from what I can see but end of the day folks it is not the hard to achieve.

I have spent time creating my own mobile optimised pages and in one case had the Affiliate/CPA allow me to connect direct to their database - but NOW we have Mobile CPA's which give you all the creatives and landing pages if you are buying media.

I now communicate daily with the owners of the CPA's and Media networks, and will record some interviews with them soon on the blog.

The date range in your admob video shows stats from 07/12 - 07/19. The date range in your affiliate network account is cut off and only shows data accumulated up until 07/20. Would you care to post video proof from your affiliate account in the specific one week period 07/12 - 07/19?

I emailed the author of the product asking for proof of earnings from networks other than clickbank. I will update in here in case he replies. I am not holding my breath.

Does anyone else wonder why he only shows income from his clickbank accounts on the sales page? (and yes, paypal too, but that could easily have come from clickbank earnings).

I have to chime in on this topic because I've worked with Danny on mobile testing when we both purchased Mack's course.

After viewing Adam's prelaunch video #2, I understand why Mack's course was flawed ... it was missing so many essential elements to have a successful campaign. The packaging on his course was top of the line but once you opened the package, the contents were lacking.

I'm considering purchasing Adam's course but that will be on hold for at least a week while I test out Danny's own method which he has so graciously offered to teach me since I built the first set of mobile landing pages so many months ago when we were originally testing mobile marketing.

I think Danny is one to watch folks because he's shown me actual proof of his accounts and the type of success he's been having with very small $50 campaigns.

If you are just looking to make $100 and up per campaign that you run on any given day, I suggest you visit Danny's blog and get on his list. He's going to be sharing tips and tricks you can use right now to profit with mobile marketing and CPA offers specifically optimized for mobile.

Anyway, once I have some results from my own tests using Danny's step-by-step 30 minute process, I'll be back to post results.

HI all, sorry I have not answered you all but I have been sleeping because I am in New Zealand not the USA I am just showing Dion and David live on screen sharing my results and they will post here.

Martin I will get back to you ... just getting to it. Yes I see now how I had the date ranges wrong, but it the results were real. Again today I have another result - spent $51 with Admob and made $150 with the mobile cpa. Another one that went live overnight is not so good and I would not recommend it - test dating in Canada offer.

Ken, please have another look at my link - it is NOT an affiliate link, it is a link to my review (that does not contain an affiliate link either).

In the 5 years or so I have been a member here there has never once appeared an affiliate link in my signature, and that is not about to change. Especially for a product like this.

I have pretty much a new business model. If I could get five cents every time Adam says "Pretty Much" I would pretty much make $200 a day.

That pretty much works out to $73,000 per year. I'd be KILLING it! (pretty much)

The reviews and overall feedback from fellow warriors seems to point to the fact that Adam's course is full of fluff. He hasn't provided much proof but just focusses on walking through registering accounts in the various advertising networks and mobile cpa networks.

I can do that on my own, I don't need an instructional video for that.

What I'm hearing (reading) is that the course is mainly theory.

I think I'm going to keep on the sidelines for the time being until others share more positive results.

My question to you both is ...
Have you implemented any of the MM theory into your own test campaigns?

I personally wouldn't totally write off the course unless I tested for at least 2 to 3 weeks and didn't at least break even.

Others are having success with mobile so I know from them (no shilling here today

) that it works and can be profitable.

Hi Dion

I agree with you - I can fully see the potential with mobile advertising, and have no trouble believing that people are making money out of it, just as they make money out of other forms of ppc and internet marketing.

My problem was that in the course, mobile ppc was being pushed as just pasting your cpa link into the ad, writing a relevant headling and "BOOM! YOU'VE MADE TONS OF MONEY" (as he likes to say)

That was pretty much the strategy he was "teaching"... :rolleyes: (I hate to use that word in conjunction with this... "course") but there was never any evidence to back his claims up. (skillfully placed ipads, iphones, macs, macbooks, and other signs of wealth carefully placed in camera view around his desk don't count as proof IMHO)

Just as thats unlikely to work with other forms of ppc, its unlikely to work with mobile. Money just doesn't grow on trees. So although I have not tested this strategy out (if you can call it a strategy) that doesn't mean I would not continue to look at mobile advertising.

I found it amusing that pretty much his whole strategy revolved around getting cheap <6c per click traffic, but as soon as he targetted north america, it would jump up to 10c, 15c+ (even when this happened, he kept insisting that he regularly got 1c and 2c clicks, but of course we never saw any evidence of this)

On the postive side, the stage is still open if someone else were to release a mobile related product. I am still interested in it, and if someone were to put together a real course with some meat on it, that included testing, case studies, and lots of vital details, I would happily buy it.

I would be happy if just one person read my comments and decided not to buy it - I would feel content knowing that I have saved them from wasting a lot of time.

Hey culvers,

Just wanted to let you know that I have decided not to buy MM. Thanks to yourself, Martin and several others who posted their opinions and reviews.

I don't want to invest my time or money into a course that doesn't deliver on the promises made in the product pitch.

Mobile is obviously a hot topic because Adam and his partners are making a killing from some of the reports I've heard about the number of sales.

I think it's sad at the same time for all those who are being taken advantage of because they don't know any better.

It should be mandatory that products first launch on Warrior Forum.

Anyone agree with me on this one? :p

I'm to agree with you... The funniest thing about Adam is that I found him on Clickbank in March of this year after he posted up "Cell Phone Treasures" I bet anyone knew he did/had that product? (sorry, poor English) any event, accordingly to "MM" reviews which his new course involves it's similar to "CPT" - with the exceptions that he added the call issue and few more things.

What I hate is this, these guys come out with another product in detail which they didn't include in their first.

Oh he offered to refund me at the time, but now Adam is so huge that most people can't communicate any further with him. Besides, after reading the disappointing facts on this thread about doing an AdMob campaign as Adam instructed has failed to prove success.

Last March I tried a RingTone campaign according to Adam and it flopped that it was a total waste!!!

I'm considering doing a niche campaign but fear & feel that I haven't the foggiest idea which one to choose that works...

Oh, yes I have a CPA account all setup & all, but from what a few have said here about their results I am now skeptical to spend even $50.00 to try plus the $20.00 for the aweber account to only discover failure!

Until I hear some positive results from out of this by someone... Staying on the fence.

As Dan claimed, you need to know more about running a campaign, I don't understand what he's explaining... Too techie garçon for me... Can you explain?

Hi aclacy, to answer - yes you can do this it depends which mobile advertising company you use. Jumptap are more US focused, Admob should work ok for you.

with Admob as an example, it is easy to do, e.g I am currently targeting people in the UAE. It is in the settings of the mobile advertising platform u are using. I don't use them all. Jumptap is another good one for the USA.

You should get into mobile cpa then it is easy to do, you just need a little cash upfront to get it going. Investing $50 a day will produce on average $150 from my experience, so at least $100 a day, but keep in mind it can take over 30 days to get paid out. Find someone to bank roll you in the first month and split it

yep this is an interesting situation so I will discuss it direct with the mobile cpa founders tonight my time. there is a news article here about it - article

I am testing around it and hitting the most used phone there, which is not blackberry - we will see how it goes. But it is not the only set-up. If I had more time and not in here

Thank you. I am someone with little money so I want to make sure not to lose any. I bought the course so that's one investment already. I am now slowly going through the modules and will have to repeat them I am sure.

My question is... Is there a possibility to start small (let's say maybe $5 a day for a start) and still make some decent results?

Under what form will the payments come in? Is this through Paypal?

I am used to ebay where I have hundreds of feedbacks all 100% positive but jumping into this nobody knows who I am.

Then you have to target these prospects with the stuff that really sells. That's another different story though most important in my opinion. The goal is to have conversions.

I hope this is covered in the course...

I think you have to put this in the right perspective with any course you buy to get anywhere on the net you have some money too put into it so you can make $$$ back, and look at it as a long term project as you learn you get better it will cost less.

In the 2nd promo video it was mentioned that it would be about $50 a day to make any money and get good leads ( 20K) I think !! anyway if you don't jump off the fence how will you know, BTW I bought the course today and I find the program very well done and if you just do some of the stuff that is laid out you will make money.

Well, I bought it the other night after a webinar but am unable to get in. When I try to log in and click on forgot my password when it doesn't let me in it says that my email isn't registered.

I've emailed support twice with no response so if I don't hear anything soon I guess I'll just go for the refund!

It looked like a good way to build lists in various niches and he showed how he followed up with related offers which seems like where the money was made since he admits that the conversions of buying off cells is very low.

I'll give it a try if I ever get in!

Try again and you should be able to resolve this. Sometimes after launch they get swamped with opened tickets, etc.,

Hi Everyone.
I bought Mobile Monopoly for review purposes.
My take on it after going through the course is this.

Adwords started out as a cheap traffic source. Now out of most peoples reach.
Facebook advertising is going through the same transition. I had some good results with Facebook using CPA offers. The bids i was having to make were increasing daily.
If you get into Mobile Marketing now you will make money for about the next 3-6 months. Then your ROI will not be worth it.
As for list building, proof is needed.

Put it this way Adam will make more money and build a bigger list from product creation than he will from Mobile marketing.
If it's that good why share it.

Hi guys,

I am an unknown member here, and am just a regular guy. After spending the last 6 months building adsense, affiliate, and cpa based websites that support me full time, I decided to take some time out to try out this course. It looked good, and I could see the potential in cheap ppc from mobile networks. I have never posted reviews before, but after going through this course I felt compelled to share my opinions with other warriors.

My first impressions were positive, what he was saying made sense "at first glance" but as the analytical side of my brain kicked in, things started to fall apart.

The first problem I saw was with submitting a phone number with CPA offers - he liked to tell us these offers would "convert like crazy" enabling us to make a "ton of money".. (he says that alot) but i really think that people will not want to submit their number - emails can be deleted with minor annoyance, but phone calls are far more irritating, because you have to answer them before you know who is on the other end. A spam email can be detected before you open it.

This is a major issue in my opinion, people will simply stop submitting their phone numbers to this type of offer!

Probably close to 50% of the video time is spent telling us how there is a tony of easy money to be made, and showing us how to sign up for clickbank, amazon, cpa networks, and the traffic networds. I mean come on! A course where most of the material is about how to create accounts and enter your username, address, and phone number?

For the list building strategy, there was no discussion or guide on the process of capturing the leads - I dont think we even got to see a live example of one of these beast mobi squeeze pages. There was also no guide on how best to convert the leads into sales, and no evidence of conversion rates. Saying something like "if you spend $50 to get leads, you only need to make 2 clickbank sales to cover the cost!" just does not cut it with me. No details were provided of campaigns he had run.

For the cpa offers section, all of his cpa accounts contained a few bucks :rolleyes: where were the riches he claims to have made? As mentioned in the thread already, most of his campaigns were pending, paused, or disapproved, we didnt see any examples of live campaigns that were successful where we could see his average cpc, impressions, and clicks. Methinks he may not actually be running any campaigns, or doing anything that he teaches!

The guy has obviously spotted an internet marketing niche that is not saturated with info products, and has tried to make a few bucks. With all these types of courses, one should ask themselves, if he really is "killing it" with these offers, why waste time creating an ecourse? Why risk saturation by telling others? Becauase he wants to help people? LOL... its because he is making very little, if anything, and the only way he is going to make thousands from clickbank is by selling an internet marketing product!

I could go on and on, but I have to go take a shower now after reading this thread. Anyone who gives a glowing review is clearly his friend, or an affiliate. People, listen to someone who has no agenda on this one - save yourself the money and more importantly, the time! Don't bother with this course... I'm sure there may be money to be made in mobile advertising, but this course isn't going to teach you it. Don't say you weren't warned.

I agree with what you are saying Culvers, but to be fair... if you're looking for the listbuilding part of the course, it's in the bonus section. It's basic info on how to sign up to AWeber and basic listbuilding.

You would think that it would be more integrated into the main course since listbuilding was the focus of his prelaunch. But, it is in there.

I have to wonder if listbuilding on mobile really works like he claims, or if he's just pushing listbuilding because he has the $67/month software to help you build web-optimized squeeze pages. I'll have to test for myself to see.

Um, yeah, in fact one screen shot of his Peerfly account (with his name on it) seemed to show total earnings of under 69 bucks and no earnings at all for the day the screen shot was taken. He stated that it was a "test account". Whatever that means. I suspect you might be right, Culvers.

Not good so far,like he says in the video ,sign ups will be coming fast,dont think so.2 days now ,no clicks, and only,114 impr,at lest i thought i would get sign ups and no cpa $,but no sign ups as well. my adds are spot on,all is well my end,but not working,
even if i had 2000 clicks of the bat,and no sign ups at least i might say that's down to me. really disappointed, i thought this might get the traffic, like he says,
will keep going and let you no how it gos.

Right there with you, James. I can't think of what was written there right after purchase, but it said something about being important that I set up my Beastmobi account right then, so I did, and it loaded lots of videos. I'm usually more careful and check to see if I got an email, but it was Very late and I was totally tired. Besides that there was some link there that said you could click there to get back to the main account/area. Kinda thought that would be vice versa.
When I search my Gmail for Beastmobi all it brings up is the Clickbank receipt. Be sure you copy the link to Beastmobi for your records. Will have to put in a support ticket, I guess.

I was reading in here last night before purchase, and barely half the posts were here; wish they had been. One of the things I was wondering was what the one time offers were.

I can't believe I missed this text, Alice: "PS I think the $67 per month upsell for "Beastmobi" is steep."

I was thoroughly irritated with the OTO because we were so sure that he had said he would be hosting the pages, in the second launch video. Also in that video the pages look really good, but that's not the case with what is shown as a comparison in the OTO for Beastmobi.
So, what do you do? You buy it. Because of the scarcity tactic he used in video 3...the intention here was to just buy it, and let it sit a couple of weeks because of being otherwise engaged, but there was the OTO.
Do be advised that the offer is still available in the member's area, so you can sign up for that in your own sweet time, at the same price.

I have always steered clear of these paid advertising methods, but he makes it look so foolproof, with maybe a 50 to 150 loss?

exactly, in the proof of income video he shows how many subscribers that he is gettng through aweber and how much money he makes through clickbank but he could be getting these subscribers through other forms of traffic,no where does he show that he got this traffic through advertising on the mobile ad networks.

When he logged into his admob account he had no campaigns running at all over a 7 days period.

So here is a quick update and then I'm off to my bed.

Danny spent a good hour with me today walking me through how he goes about setting up his test campaigns and does his geo targeted research.

I've now setup 1 test campaign in AdMob and it's awaiting approval. It took me all of 15 minutes to setup that first campaign.

I plan to setup another 5 to 10 before the weekend and see how they do once they've been approved.

I would suggest that anyone who wants to do mobile marketing should have a budget of at least $50 because that's the minimum that AdMob requires for the daily budget to run your campaign.

I've also learned of several other Mobile Advertising Networks through Danny. I'm eager to test them as well once I have results from my AdMob campaigns. Apparently the CPC for some of the other Mobile networks is cheaper than AdMob.

Anyway, that's all for now folks. Keep on truckin' or trollin' or earnin'. Whatever you do, just have fun.

P.S. I haven't logged into my AdMob account in literally more than 6 months. When I logged in today I had to accept their updated terms and also provide more personal information, go figure. I'm no stranger to CPA, but Mobile CPA is relatively new to me and if I can setup a campaign in 15 minutes then any person that is new can do it.

P.P.S. Thanks again Danny for sticking to it even after the terrible results from Mack's training. I really appreciate your time and willingness to assist me in cracking the code to mobile marketing.

Hi mate ... yes I am working on an idea but the focus is trying to get through Adam's material, so I can give a good review for the thread here

... but I sort of already know from experience it is going to be hard going trying to build a list. I am not sure I want to put my $50 bucks on the line for a few more set-ups

Straight mobile CPA offers has been the only thing that has worked for me, and getting your hands on a mobile games site of your own to drive traffic to and earn from ... I am testing that (another thing to explain to you all ... but not here).

There are other mobile advertisers besides Admob, but yes Admob will happily drain your money if u don't set the campaign with up right so this doesn't happen.

I do appreciate that there is an amount of trial and error here. However, I imagine the product is purchased on the basis that the trial and error for the "proven campaigns" has already been done.

Until Evey one wants a refund.

The more i look at this, i dont think this is how to build a list, and this was how it was being sold. people may opt in to get something for Free,but when they get home i think most will opt out, dont for get they are not looking for your add,unlike online when people are searching for something, i think the only way
this will work would be to send them straight to a CPA offer.

So far i have had only 2 clicks and 227 imp

I could up the Min Bid just to P-SS it all away, but i think i will change the add?

The Guru's are pushing this mobile thing hard. They are good at giving you numbers, but can never really qualify them in any way. They also think that giving you simple copy and paste campaigns are going to make you rich over night. Mobile marketing is not a get rich quick scheme in any way. It requires a considerable investment, testing, tracking, and patience.

I actually bought a course on mobile marketing a couple months ago and gave this a try with $1000 budget. I had to rotate multiple CPA offers, and lost quite a bit of money, but managed to break even with a couple of campaigns. You have to be willing to really make this work, and be ready to lose your shirt before you start making any money with this strategy. Treat it as a business like anything else. Not a get rich quick scheme...

If you think you have what it takes, then good luck to you. I really do hope you can get it to work for you. Otherwize I'd recommend sticking to proven strategies for list building and making money online.

I purchased this 2 days ago, along with the upsells.. But, after watching the 7 proven campaigns, it seems like a lot of this is being winged on the fly. I mean, couldn't he have found a smoking offer that didn't show you needed to get approved..like maybe re record the video so it doesn't look so obvious that he has never actually run the campaign. . Rather, this is one of his proven campaigns, yet he is not even approved for the offer yet in his own account. So, I have yet to implement his proven offers, but I think I may just get a refund, atleast for the proven campaigns, but the main course seems like ok theory. It's just that, when you are selling your 7 proven campaigns( I'm not the copy and paste type really, just curious as to what works like anyone else would be.), It would be nice if he could detail the campaign like...as you can see here on july 28 I had 700 clicks for a total of $27 dollars, but you will also notice that I sold 2 smoking cpa products on the same day for 39 a pop... end guru impersonation. I honestly can't believe he can just say here is an offer, here is the adtext, oh dangit, I'm not approved yet for this offer, why did I choose this offer again on live video, after all I told them this was a proven money maker, oh what the heck, let's just throw it in and hope nobody sees. Atleast give us some data... He doesn't even show proof the campaign was ever running..

Basically, I think it was an eye opening course, BUT, I don't think there are very many people that will be able to make a lot of money following his campaigns. And if his upsell of "proven campaigns" is built on theory(not positive, but it sure seems like some of them were), then I'm sure the main course....

The good thing is, you learn about the ad networks and the cpa networks for mobiles. If you're interested, and have a lot of effort, then it might work, but I think for now, I'll stick with marketing to people actually on their computers for the most part.

I just saw on clickbank that mobile monopoly is currently #1 product there with a gravity of 634. Must be having great sales. To me at least the concept is most unique otherwise all the new products that are being launched these days are all old stuff. I am really enjoying this course and going to make some campaigns very soon.

Pay per call offers are all I've found/heard of working with mobile (except the odd normal CPA campaign).

...And those are usually run in house since there are still only a few real mobile advertising platforms and affiliates really aren't needed.

But I haven't bought the course, maybe the proven campaigns work very well.

I had a chance to go through the course and its very clear that he does not walk the talk...

The CPA accounts that he shows have little or no money in them and his mobile ad network accounts have almost no stats...if he was really making the income he claimed, why would he not show his actual campaign results? (especially when he's giving away those campaigns as bonuses claiming that these campaigns have made him a lot of money)...

As @Culvers points out, 99% of the course is just a walkthrough of ad networks, mobile networks and his software...no mention of tactics, strategies, targeting, optimization etc

The bonus campaigns are a joke - he randomly picks up campaigns, then sets it up on admob and abruptly ends the video saying - 'run this campaign and I promise you that will make crazy amounts of money'.

If only marketing was as simple as randomly blasting out offers and making money from them, every marketer would be a millionaire...

Overall, I was extremely unimpressed with the course....its very clear that the course was made to capitalize on the hot interest in this niche, and not created based on personal experience...

You'd get 100 times more information by watching the free webinars put out by the OfferMobi guys than from this info product...

I have learnt a huge amount from this course. Sure there is a lot of basic information covered...but he is trying to cater for all types of marketers. You learn alternative methods of sourcing CPA networks. How to write your own apps, or outsource it if you want. How you can get out there to the local business market with another source of advertising that is no obvious to the local businessman and so much more.
I think it was really worth the $77...he has over delivered in information, I'm glad I bought it and have a better understanding of Mobile Marketing because of this course.
I've had success with my first mobile marketing campaign and now have and additional 135 subsribers to my anti aging niche to onsell further products thanks to Mobile Monopoly.
I highly recommend it.

In addition to the usual paid traffic methods I have done mobile marketing for almost 2 years, which is about 18 months longer than the product creator ( though after looking at the product I seriously doubt he has ever really done any ) I had so many people mention this thing to me during the week, that i just had to check it out.

I do however have some points I would like to highlight in addition to what Martin wrote.

No mention or examples of using google adwords mobile ads . Google does own admob now, but the platforms are still very different.You can still do mobile ads on google search. and of course other ads via the google display network, just set up seperate campaigns for mobile only within the adwords account. I guess he's " killing it " so much he didn't need to access the google traffic or show the people buying his course about using google for mobile ?

I don't mind sharing that I do click to call via google adwords for mobile. I use it to promote finance related offers, and it is profitable, but not huge traffic volumes. A google mobile ad gives them 2 choices in the ad, either click and call the number, which obviously with a phone in their hand is easy, or click to visit the website, which in this case is optimised for a mobile visitor.

Want to make your sites suitable for mobile, or build an offer ? Then use wordpress, and optimise it for mobile WordPress › WordPress Mobile Pack WordPress Plugins

No examples of split testing. I can tell you that different networks, and different devices will give you different results and different bid prices. You may find that conversions on a squeeze page for an ad that targets iphone users only will perform better than a standard phone.

Let me take one example from this thread.

Alice, the first thing here is if you paid 15 cents on admob, then I expect you chose the most broad setting. 15 cents is the usual default bid price.

If you had done device targeting you may find all 12 of those subs came from an iphone or a blackberry ? and you wasted money on other other clicks from other phones. On the other hand you may just have a bad page, because I would have expected around 40 subscribers even via mobile for that if it was targeted and the page optimised.

It does not matter what traffic method is used to get a subscriber, once you have them, the process for selling is the same, and if you punt crap to subscriber via email, they won't be anymore likely to buy from you just because they signed up via a mobile. As the great John Caples said " Times change. People don't " If you reach your customer through mobile, they are still the same, with the same needs and wants.

Though this is not the place to go deeper into it, I will also tell you that sending your subscribers to other companies email submits is not a viable business model.

Cheap Traffic- Let me make this one clear. If you are targeting North America and Europe, 1 cent and 3 cent bids do not exist on the main networks that have the traffic. Cheap traffic in relation to other markets ? YES, for example taking the details I showed above, Try getting 381 clicks on google for weight loss at an avg of 15 cents. It is about knowing your market and what the costs in that market are on other platforms. Insurance as a keyword on mobile is cheap compared to buying it on google . (REMOVED... PERSONAL ATTACK )

I won't beat about the bush here, In my view and with experience in this marketplace, the front end marketing of this course is set up to deliberately mislead the customer by implying that the process is easy and fast .Big generalisations about making " big money "

quote " Going Mobile will turn into the fastest most effortless money you have ever made "

It is the classic clickbank sales page, post up a bunch of screen shots, get a couple of your buddies to vouch how great it is ( MOD NOTE: PERSONAL COMMENT REMOVED. yes this product is " sick" but not the hip way you mean ) , and you are good to go.

even the number he quotes for his aweber subscriptions includes the unsubcribes, which would mean his one big list is 17327 not 22, 312, (MOD NOTE: This line was removed due to personal attack) If he can't quote an accurate number based on a screen grab we can all see, how much credit you want to give the rest of his story ?

Save your money, because this won't deliver the the mobile marketing holy grail.

Mobile marketing is growing, and you can make money with it, but just like any other traffic source, be that facebook plenty of fish, or even the mighty Goog, if you have no clue about marketing , if you don't know who your target customer is, then you will not get good results. Spend some time and money on understanding marketing first.

I'm not sure what Danny said but my guess is what he was trying to say is before you run a campaign you should do some demographic research. Let me give you an example as I understand it.

Let's say I was testing a campaign for "text dating" in a particular country. I'll use Canada for this example. I would have to figure out who the target market is for that offer and target them specifically before running my campaign otherwise I run the risk of losing money very quickly.

The cool thing that I've learned about mobile marketing (from networking/masterminding with another WF member) is that you can get really specific with your targeting even down to the model of phone being used.

Here's what I would do to launch a mobile campaign:

1) Take the domain for the campaign and plug that into Quantcast and Google Ad planner to get the best demographics and age range.

Note: if there is no data on the domain, I do a search in Google for the campaign domain and plug in the number 1 competitor that shows up in the results and just move down the list until data shows up.

2) Look at the primary phone for Canada (can be found in the campaign planner of your mobile cpa network) which happens to be Blackberry (RIM).

3) Look at the primary channel for Canada which happens to be lifestyle. <-- we care a lot about lifestyle up here.

4) Launch my campaign targeting the best age range I've found for the website, country, channel, phone carrier and phone model.

5) Split test to see how text ads convert compared to banner ads.

The networks even recommend what price to bid at so much of the guessing has been removed.

I am by no means an expert. I am still testing things out for myself but this is the process I use for the successful cpa campaigns I'm running through PPC and CPV so I'm pretty convinced this process will work for mobile as well.

Some observations.

1. good luck trying to find 5 or cent clicks for US market campaigns - ain't gonna happen. You won't get any impressions to speak of let alone the chance of any clicks. 16 to 20 cent is more realistic.
2. Here is an example of a campaign, taken "as is" from his list of "proven campaigns"

stop smoking - cpa:

$0.16 clicks
195,108 impressions
261 clicks
CTR 0.13%
$41.75 spent
zero conversions.
result - $41.75 loss.

I think people like Danny, on here, have more of an idea --- just my ten cents worth (pun intended).

Adam's course doesn't cover all this really, but end of the day folks you should only use a mobile CPA offers on WAP phones not Iphones, and pick parts of the world where the clicks are cheap enough to achieve a win ratio ... ie profit, simple really. Don't try to be to complicated when trying to make money with mobile marketing.

Hi Danny:

I agree with you on this note! Adam's course doesn't really go into specifics... only general steps... which is good for those not sure how to act upon them... but if they're like me... very skeptical about spending $50.00 on a campaign and learn at the end how disappointing it will be in your results.

I PM Dion and you, although I haven't heard back from either of you guys... I would seriously like to read your steps in narrowing down the demographics and learn how to use cell phone marketing as a potential method of earning an income.

Now, merit I'm not made of money but willing to spend $50.00 on a campaign and hopefully find results enough to generate a list of at least 1000 people which in all fairness would be a valid number for the results... of course it truly depends on your research and demographics as you guys pointed out... Adam's Course doesn't do that!

Not in the slightest... if he did he would lose money! Plain and simple!!!

I hate these guys who have idea's to make money, they go through all the test, remember their procedures of how they do it, but not the homework methods. Besides, niche markets is the key here when doing a CPA offer!

If a course were to go through step one, find the niche you wanted or actually was is popular on the net and what most people are interested in... then take that niche (although I know it changes constantly, keeping that factor in the equalization) and work from there... then narrow down the demographics as Dion pointed out, and you too Danny - then it would make more sense to the marketer in performing the task at hand and not be discouraged!

Skeptical minds think a lot. Adam's concepts and idea's are truly intriguing and chances of him reading this post/thread here any way will never really happen. Adam's a cool guy, I've e-mailed him in the past with this and his other course he launched at the end of May: "Dude, I Hate My Job" - that again is a very vague but alright course.

As for "MM" I wont buy it. It's too much of the same as "Cell Phone Treasure" and the reports are truly mixed on the subject. Some here have plainly spoke out with a comment that he articulates too much on the concept of how to generate leads and make money, making it sound very easy that all you have to do is cough up not only his $77.00 for the course, but cough up $50.00 at least five to ten times, and spend the fr*king $20.00 for Aweber to generate & store the results of the campaigns.

Someone needs Danny as Dion lightly said about how to really do it and make money from it!

I know, not suppose to speak about Danny here... but compared to Adam's course, I think it's a valid point!

1) Open your receipt email from CB
2) Scroll down to the very bottom
3) Click the link under "Customer Service"
4) Click on "request support" on the upper left corner (could be named something similar, as I have a german frontend)
5) select "more options..." from the pulldown menu
6) select "refund" and a "reason" from the pulldown menu
7) sent it to cb

On Clickbank home page there's an icon at the very top "order help" click that.
A box appears "Order Lookup" enter Clickbank order number and one of either "email address" "last 4 digits of credit card number" or "Paypal Transaction ID"
Click Submit.

An "Order Detail Box" will appear. In the top left click "Get Support"
Another box will appear "What problem are you having?"
In the drop down box there's a list of options, click "more options" at the bottom.
Then a box appears with "refund request" in the middle with a radio button to check.
List reason for refund from drop down box, then click submit.

You should then receive an email saying that your request is being dealt with.

The problem with Mobile Monopoly is that the payment for the product wasn't taken from the normal Clickbank page. In the video promo Adam promises a refund but states it has to be done by just "shooting him an email"

while on mobile marketing myself i have seen Admoda - Mobile Advertising offering really good CPC. still cpc as low as $0.01 worth looking into them.

  Well as far as I am concerned, every person who promoted this product to my inbox is having their subscriptions deleted.
  
  For anyone's information, I bought all the upsells but once I got the course I had a lot of questions about his "proof".
  
  I sent in 4 emails and was EVENTUALLY replied to saying I would have to phone instead and leave a mesasage.
  
  Then when I said I wanted a refund they lied and said they were not able to and I would need to do it myself at clickbank.
  
  I am experienced online and I am very angry at myself for letting these Di$*heads trick me into parting with my cash.
  
  False claims, no proof, it's obvious that this has been one big marketing ploy and to everyone involved with it, I hope your karma catches up with you soon.
  
  DO NOT BUY THIS COURSE IF YOU ARE BUYING BASED ON THEIR INCOME CLAIMS. THE PROVEN CAMPAIGNS HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED.
  
  I hope newbies who have purchased the course do not spend too much money before they realise it's time to stop.
  
  I tested out his "proven" offers, (or the ones that were still actually offers, a couple were no longer available) and I had to increase the cpc up to 16cents before any substantial clicks were recieved and as you might guess, nothing and I mean NOTHING converted.
  
  Plus in the videos, the way he set up campaigns got low click cost because he just glossed over the targeting the demographics part. He kept leaving it at target the whole world. They have done EVERYTHING to decieve us, and it is so obvious when you look over the videos again.
  
  Thisw might seem like a strong message. If Mobile Monopoly people are annoyed at this, sue me. At least in court you'd have to prove your claims.
  
  Enjoy living on the money you made from scamming people into buying through blatantly lying to them!
  
  I hope this helps at least one person not spend money on this trash

  Yes it is a real shame how all these people including IM guru's promote this course without even testing it themselves. Personally I was hopeful what he was showing would work but knew it was unlikely from my experience of trying it over 12 months ago.
  
  I have been doing my own thing on mobile not like Adam and making money - no hype no bull, this week alone I have seen very good returns ready for up-scaling. I have mentored a bunch of people all for free this week too ... it takes time and testing to get this right folks.

  Yes please I would not buy this course, of all the people I have been helping am helping who brought the course and set up their campaigns as Adam shows - zero have made money.

I was going to put out an honest review for it thats why i wanted a copy to check over first but by the sounds of it from all the negative stuff doesnt sound like a good idea.

Well, I knew the usual CB promoters will promote this to their lists, but what really surprised me was getting Jason Moffatt's email regarding this. I like Jason and I read almost every single email he sends out. He probably regrets sending it now, but I know how it works so I don't blame him and didn't unsubscribe, just was surprised. That should tell you that the REAL money is being made selling this stuff and not doing it Although there are a few of us that make more from marketing than from selling products

Fair play to Adam seeing the opportunity in the market...it's just a pity he didn't just walk his talk a little bit as from a marketing perspecitive with his lauch video's...it's a snazzy process
