Banking off of Obama's Inauguration
What do you guys think of people trying to bank off the inauguration? I did a search on Google for the phrase "inauguration" and there are ads where you can buy buttons, shirts, caps, posters for $39, and other merchandise...
There are some people who are crazy about this inauguration and traveled all the way across country just to be able to stand a mile or two away from where it's happening.
I'm sure a lot of those people and others would want to buy a a "piece of history" and the guys selling them are probably making a nice dollar or two.
It's just a thought to keep in mind... what other big event's like this can marketers act quickly on and take advantage of? How much do you think guys like this actually profit?
