I have a site ranking on google for a primary keyword - this remains unchanged.

But I also had some sub-pages of this site ranking 1st page for some secondary keywords which it seems...

When creating backlinks, do you vary your anchor text? or do you simply use your desired keyword in as many backlinks as possible?

example:

50 links with the anchor text "basketball gambling"

Interesting, I'll look at this a bit closer. Google has said that they don't like paid links, but I understand that its pretty hard to differentiate in practice.
