Amember Question

Hi - I'm not sure this is the right subject area - if not, please redirect me. I am hosting my site on hostgator and looking to do a membership site - using word press & amember.

Anyone have any feedback on amember?

My momentary frustration with them is that I have some "presale" questions for them and I can't seem to get them answered - they prefer you to sign up/register and submit tickets or particpate on their forum - I have tried twice and the email to confirm that they say they sent, never comes.

I have sent 2 emails to their email address to ask my question, but they say that their email is unreliable.

Anyone familiar with amember and any thoughts?

    I have actually just setup amember + Wordpress for a membership site for a client. What is your question>?

    You will just need a linux site and a for wp which i guess hostgator is.

      The WP plugin (have to buy it seperately) works very well with Amember.

      i have used this setup on a few of my sites and have worked very well..

    Hello Meryl,
    I have setup WP and aMember for some clients it works very well together. A lot of editing to change the defaults and modify the layout, but it does the job nicely. If you cannot get through to aMember support for presales questions, you've got an excellent crowd here to help you. David from Membership Academy is one of the best, and can certainly answer your questions. Just post them here or over at the aMember forum. Good luck and let us know your experiences. Thanks.
