WEB DESIGN

I'm looking for a good wp template that allows a modest amount of chatter with about 6-10 sale items for view on each page. anyone seen a good one? these will be actual items I sell.

Cellar Heat (light) Wordpress Theme

You could make some changes to the background and colors, but I think this would be a good fit. Guess it depends on what you had in mind. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do. Thanks.

Any reason you're not using an ecommerce package (osCommerce, ZenCart, Magento) instead of WordPress?
