Do you need special templates to use with amember? I'm thinking of buying that script, but want to budget for everything I will need with it too. If not, is it easy to incorporate?

aMember comes with a very flexible template system. But it comes with a very plain theme out-of-the box. It can be pretty easily modified to match the theme of the rest of your site if you're willing to do some cut-and-paste and understand the basic HTML on whatever your current theme is.

What are you trying to integrate it with? WordPress? A custom theme? Joomla?

David Moskowitz over at MemberShipAcademy.com does a great job of applying your theme to aMember templates.

I really like aMember and recommend it highly.

I've set Amember up for several clients. Since Amember is just used as access to directory(s) on the site, you only need to worry about the sign up, login, and member account pages. (I think - I might have forgotten one, but you get the idea.)

These pages have header and footer includes so it's easy to just add the elements from the rest of the site to these pages. And Amember uses CSS for styling so it's also easy to match the colors, etc. to the rest of the site.

      Good Luck!

    Hello Aristocratic,
Templates and customization is up to you with amember, using the header and footer. I have installed / integrated amember with custom themes on Wordpress with great results. The login pages and membership pages simply look like they are part of your website, even though the backend is completely running off amember and the database. Check out the earlier suggestion about Membership Academy. Also, amember has an excellent support forum if you need more detailed solutions and ideas. Good luck.

You can customize the amember templates using html. Its mainly a matter of fixing up the header and footer files.
