OUT THE MOUTHS OF BABES....

....the truth is what you get - EVERY SINGLE TIME!
My children, in their own innocent ways, are the most honest and open of all the people in my life!
When they were really young and wanted to draw "mummy's face" it would be a circle for my head, two dots for eyes, two small dots for nose in the middle and a smiley curved line for my mouth - cute.
Nowadays they are more 'artistic' - I'm getting the wrinkles included on the facial features, along with their interpretation of my body shape drawn through their own interpretation of how they see me through their own eyes!
When I was idiotic to ask why they had drawn squiggly lines on my forehard, I was told in a very matter of fact manner "because you have them mummy!!"
While it was hysterically funny at the time, it made me realise how important it is to know the truth about what others (in our case - customers) think about your offering - i.e. your products. Sometimes it makes us feel a little insecure (only for a bit) however it definitely allows us to improve our product offering and generate greater wealth overall!
While I do not think we all want our customers to point out the "wrinkles" in our products, can I ask you when was the last time you actually got constructive, objective and direct feedback on your products?
I know many people ask for feedback on products from people they have in their 'network' however it is CRUCIAL to get feedback BEFORE you proceed to ANY FORM OF SELLING!!!!
Once you get to the 'pre release' stage of asking IM people (you only vaguely know via IM forums), YOU ALREADY ARE SELLING (although no money changing hands).
Your offering therefore needs to be almost 100% watertight to ensure all the feedback you get is positive and along the lines of what you know real customers will think of you once you are selling in the public domain.
This feedback enables you to use these great testimonials to further promote and reassure potential customers of how good your product really is.
All too often products are on sale which clearly have not have any rigour applied to their "pre-release ROAD TEST" - i.e. no constructive detailed feedback and professional review by an impartial, experienced IM writer of the products content, layout, expected outcomes and objectives.
We spend SO MUCH time carefully creating and designing products, with a view to making money from them. Don't make the mistake of missing out this vital step.
Including this step does not delay you and will make you a lot more money. It will definitely cut down on the amount of refunds you end up processing for disgruntled customers, which not only hampers progress of getting your product promoted by others, it also has significant consequences for YOUR IM REPUTATION!
Take the time to prepare and prepare well.
Engage the services of someone (NOT A FRIEND) who can review your product with objective rigour and give you the candid timely feedback you need to hear to ensure your final released product is a total GOLDMINE for you!
Including this stage you will definitely save on future refunds, so the small fee is money well spent!
PM me with any queries on this BEFORE YOUR NEXT LAUNCH.
Thanks for reading!
