Tire kickers and Bain Pickers.

The world is full of tire kickers, you know those folks that tend to look but never really make that purchasing decision.
Then there are the brain pickers, those folks are usually up to something different than what you think they are up to.
The Brain Picker is only interested in doing one thing, getting information from you that they do not currently possess.
What the brain picker wants is to get professional information and advice so they can do it themselves and save money or make money.
One of the things I have noticed even here on the WF is that often people are very interested in discussing a project, they want to know how it works, what the concept is and every little detail they can get out of you.
Then suddenly you wont hear anything else from them.
Your scratching your head and thinking what just happened.
Well you have been Brain Picked.

It can be frustrating to be in a sales position and have only people who do not really intend on making any kind of purchase.

Personally I would rather have a tire kicker than a brain picker because at least the tire kicker is interested in looking.

Professionals run into these types all the time, from lawyers to plumbers and just about every profession in-between.

Then suddenly you wont hear anything else from them.
Your scratching your head and thinking what just happened.
Well you have been Brain Picked.
