not a max character count per say, but I generally won't go over 3 words. I suppose that's about no more than 20-25 characters, but more than 3 words starts going against many of the rules discussed...

I'd have to add to this - building a list. Once you've got a list of subscribers and buyers built up it's many times easier to make sales and be able to generate a monthly income like that.
