I've had problems with putting too much on one domain. Not only does it slow your sites down, but if you are banned/sandboxed, it goes by your server IP with some services sometimes and penalizes all...

I don't really follow all that stuff with sites because they will do what they do. I just keep marketing, building high PR relevant links and let them do what they want and hope for the best.

If you are going to buy a ton of backlinks, do it to a 2nd site which leads to your real site, then later if ranked or whatever, redirect it. But don't screw your main site by doing it.

You need more frequent updates and more variety now. Just having a ton of links doesn't matter anymore. Aim for GOOD targeted links that are RELEVANT. Having 50,000 useless random links just looks...

I think Google moreso caters to the sites with the most traffic as authority. Person could be nonsense, but if their analytics show they get lots of re-visits, then they are going to get looked at...
