you can use any image to create this favicon, download http://www.axialis icon workshop, choose your image, and create a .ico name it favicon.ico and upload it to your root ftp walllaa,, :)

if your site is URL friendly, you can somehow use permlink, but still something ive never done.

you only get one backlink from one URL or domain, so the answer is no, Unless i believe if the site has different subdomains e.g social bookmarking sites, then yes your link might count for each...

just find a free theme and edit the header.php, sidebar.php and pages to either delete e.g comment section or sidebar widgets to make it look like a general website, but why would you want to do this?
