After Google's latest updates, what will stop people from spamming other people's websites with backlinks that Google views as "bad." I haven't been doing IM for awhile (and don't plan to just yet)...

It's not working though. It's been 2-3 days since I've done that, and there's backlinks pointing to it. Sub-category pages have gotten indexed, but not my parent category page.
