When you click on Standard Reporting, you get results for previous days (not including "today"). Analytics can't go back in time if the code wasn't on the page.

Looks like it was a 60 day penalty. Google's given this type of penalty to themselves previously, too. They can give manual penalties that expire after a certain time.
