I think robot.txt rules cannot be added in the .htaccess file. But htaccess file can be used to deny access to a folder's directory listing which can prevent a crawler to locate and index the files...

I have tried webhosts are Bluehost, Justhost and Hostgator and found all of them great. They all offer discounted and cheaper packages for 1st year, after that they charge you normally.

I think Google determines if a site is being updated too fast, then they index those sites faster. Most of the forums with heavy traffic where new posts are being posted every minute and get indexed...

Do this on all target pages you dont want to get indexed.

That domain was registered in Oct 2011 which is not old enough. There are backlinks but not much traffic. I think you should wait 1, 2 year more - build traffic and backlinks and then sell it.
