One of my blog sites is getting a 17000 visits a month.

This is according to host gator. This site is kinda crappy so how is this possible? It ranks for nothing. Are all these visits from spam bots? must be. I just found this number odd.

I think if that was true no one would ever in the history of SEO create one backlink because it would be pointless.
