40% of the monthly income came from freelance writing gigs the owner got as a result of people seeing the site and requesting similar articles. Could be why it didn't sell.

to do it yourself from the UK you'll have to use (US based) proxies to access you account/PVA to post, and use a real US based phone number that can forward to a skype/voip number that you can answer...

Not 100% sure without looking at the file, but it sounds like the font that was used to create the PSD is not present on your computer. You could substitute a font that you have or recreate the text...

I do know that when you do 3-5 they will usually rank for some other related keywords naturally, but to my knowlede I don't think you can control the amount of extra rankings or the related words...

Yeah Usually some backlinks and a little optimization will get you to A, especially if it's low to medium competition. Also if the listing and domain are aged a little that helps too.

I would definitely do local domains that are keyword rich for that local market based on what people are searching for in that area (G Keyword tool). I would also look at doing PPC...
